Bridesmaid Dresses, Lemons, and Flowers
Hi girls, would anyone be terribly upset if I changed the color of bridesmaid dresses to yellow? I looked at the flower arrangement, and I thought that yellow would look beautiful. It's my favorite color. The lemons helped persuade me. Of course, the bridesmaid dresses wouldn't be the same shade of yellow as lemons. We could still go with the same style of dress.

You are the bride. Its all about what you want. You want yellow, yellow you shall have.
I think we'd earlier talked about how pretty the contrast of yellow flowers would look on blue dresses. If you decide to go with yellow dresses, I think you should add another color to the bouquets so they pop more. Otherwise, the flowers might get lost in the dress, especially in photos.
Oh, one more thing. I've just realized that your centerpieces should totally have lemons in them. And another fruit matching the color of the other flowers. I can think of nothing more summery.
I love lemons. Especially in the form of Lemon Meringue Pie. You should have pie at the reception. Mmmm... I'm hungry.
I agree with Ms. Kenobi, yellow flowers against a yellow dress could get lost. My mom had yellow bridesmaid dresses, and if I weren't so lazy I could go look at the photo album and see what color flowers everyone carried.
haha! Thanks you guys! I'm so happy about the colors! A little dab of orange, pink, or white in the flower arrangements might help so the yellows don't get lost...at least I think so lol. Oh, and hooray! We can incorporate lemons into the wedding!
